Full TimeHourlyManhattan, KSPosted 1 year ago Position Summary This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for the proper operations of our canning and/or packaging line(s)Canning or packaging product for our valued customers in a timely manner while meeting safety and quality food codes and procedures Essential Job Functions Can or package products according to standard operating proceduresPerform tasks with focus towards organization, sanitation, and safetyEnsure product is of highest standards before and after packagingRun routine inspections on equipment to ensure qualityClassification of Instructional Programs for all equipment according to standard operating proceduresPerform daily maintenance of the canning and packaging linesEffectively work with and coordinate with packaging teamAccurately keep and maintain records pertaining to taskMaintain clean work environmentAdditional duties as required Minimum Position Qualifications This position requires 1-2 years of experience in similar dutiesDetail orientated person required for this positionAbility to complete tasks in timely mannerCapable of lifting 40 lbs.Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reachingMust always wear personal protective equipmentParticipates actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, and training sessionsAbility to work a schedule of (4) full 10-hour workdays per week, with the flexibility to occasionally work nights and weekends as needed
