Responsibilities
- Under direction of Finishing Team Lead and Supervisor, sets up packaging line, including installation of packaging equipment as well as placement of appropriately labeled and color-coded hoppers.
- Cleans packaging equipment between alloys to remove residual powder.
- Delivers packaged product to shipping.
- Meets or exceeds all safety, environmental, and health goals for department.
- Meets or exceeds quality goals for production orders.
- Meets or exceeds productivity targets.
- Contributes to continual improvement activities.
- Notifies lead or supervisor about any problems.
- Assists in other departments (i.e. Screening, Remelt, Cladding, Blends, Tape and Paste).
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- Basic math skills and organization ability.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, i.e. lifting, bending, standing.
- Ability to safely operate cranes and powered industrial vehicles.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to work 6pm-6:30am shift.
Schedule
12-hour shifts overnight (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) on a two-week rotating schedule.
