About the role

Processing finished products for customer-specified packaging.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Inspect finished products and discard defects
• Gather packaging supplies to package finished goods to match customer-specified orders
• Print labels to match packaged finished goods
• Assemble & label boxes
• Run product through metal detector to ensure food safety standards
• Count finished products to match specified label quantities
• Label and case finished products
• Complete work orders to document processed finished goods
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to count product accurately
• Meticulous attention to detail; well organized and able to apply logic to a variety of situations to solve complex problems
• Records maintenance skills
• Color acuity necessary
• Basic math skills, basic reading and writing skills
• Ability to see and distinguish fine differentiation in color, detail, and design
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Physical Activities

Requires mobility. Physical setting may be in office, plant, or warehouse. Involves sitting, standing, walking, and communication abilities. The environment may be loud and dusty at times. May be subject to temperature changes.
