Cannabis Delivery Dispatcher

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

• Analyze transportation needs and coordinate logistics for optimal delivery routes
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and update schedules
• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for efficient transportation solutions
• Maintain communication with supply chain partners to optimize delivery processes
• Monitor GPS systems to track vehicle locations and ensure on-time deliveries

Requirements

• Proficient in transportation planning and management
• Strong analytical skills to optimize delivery routes and schedules
• Knowledge of transportation management systems like SyteLine and AS400
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems for monitoring vehicle locations
• Understanding of supply chain principles for effective coordination

Expected Hours

Employee discount

Schedule: 10 hour shift, 4 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Day shift, Evening shift, Holidays, Rotating weekends, Weekends as needed

Experience

Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
