BASIC PURPOSE

The Candidate Engagement Specialist is responsible to attract, evaluate, and secure highly qualified candidates efficiently, ensuring optimal staffing levels that align with client needs and maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates to support the company’s growth and reputation in a competitive market.

Essential Functions

  • Leverage targeted marketing and outreach strategies to connect with experienced candidates.
  • Highlight competitive pay, benefits, assignment variety, company reputation, and expansive support to appeal to candidates.
  • Determine experience, education, active licensure, active certifications.
  • Develop a database of pre-qualified candidates for various regions for different periods of the school year.
  • Use Symplr CTM and Bullhorn tools to nurture relationships with potential candidates.
  • Use external database platforms to mine and engage with potential leads.
  • Work closely with Recruiters and Account Managers to understand school and state requirements.
  • Ensure candidates meet specialty skills and licensure needs promptly.
  • Track handoffs
  • Lead follow up within 60 minutes
  • File Creation
  • Complete work history with gaps explained
  • SPIN Call doc completed
  • References Education Certifications uploaded (if applicable)
  • Date of availability established
  • Caseload preferences Travel or local assignment details confirmed
  • Recruiter Hand Off
  • Hand-off to Support Team to be Round-Robined
  • Alignments made based on region/modality
  • Hot handoff sheet completed in full
  • Follow-up task for scheduled call set and aligned to Recruiter receiving
  • Tracking
  • Daily leadership tracking on engagement
  • Weekly tracking on submissions

Qualifications/Education

  • 1 year of sourcing/recruiting experience, 2+ years preferred.
  • 1 year of office experience
  • Strong Computer/Technological skills using Microsoft Office and recruitment software/tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and sufficient experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
