Cancer Registrar, Certified Tumor Registrar

About the role

The Cancer Registrar at Community Medical Center is responsible for selecting and abstracting all cases of malignancy diagnosed and/or treated at the facility, including those with a history of cancer or cases of consultation only, into the Cancer Registry Database for submission to the State of New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Select and abstract cases of malignancy diagnosed and/or treated at Community Medical Center
• Abstract cases with a history of cancer or cases of consultation only into the Cancer Registry Database
• Assist the Coordinator in completing information requests
• Create the Cancer Program Annual Report
• Maintain the quality improvement process

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Successful completion of all required orientation programs
• Certified Tumor Registrar certification

Pay

The pay range for this position is $27.43 - $38.40 per hour.

Schedule

This position is full-time and works on a day shift.
