(CAN) Stock Unloader Associate
About the role
Working as a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities
- Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
- Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
- Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
- Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
- Follows Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
- Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
Potential Challenges
- Manages high task volume in a fast-paced environment, including overnight hours, to stay energized and focused.
- Handles a fast-paced workload with efficiency, ensuring large volumes of restocking and recovery are completed accurately and on time.
- Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.

Pay
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.15 per hour.
