Primary Purpose Of Job

Responsible for the overall Campus experience and maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of Campus headquarters to customers, visitors, and teammates. Oversees and operates the Campus Visitor Center (welcoming and checking-in guests, pick up and deliveries, etc.). Directly handles the distribution of incoming and outgoing inter-departmental mail, US Postal Service mail, courier bags and the handling of material for various domestic carriers and vendors.

Major Job Accountabilities

  • Ensures that all customers, visitors and teammates have an excellent experience throughout their visit or work day.
  • Ensures all assigned areas are clean and presentable which includes, but is not limited to:
    • Dusting, washing, sweeping, vacuuming
    • Clearing away trash and emptying trash receptacles
    • Maintaining and monitoring inventory of supplies for various areas (coffee break areas, copy machine areas etc.)
    • Collecting shred-bins on all Campus floors
    • Ensures the kitchen and coffee break areas are clean and properly stocked. Services these areas throughout the day as needed.
    • Prepares and cleans conference rooms prior to and after meetings are held.
    • Affords support campus events.
  • Serves as general campus support (light office, moving, delivering, etc.).
  • Sorts and routes incoming USPS mail to the appropriate recipient in a timely manner.
  • Sorts and prepares all outgoing USPS mail for the vendor (Cardinal) to pick up and delivers to USPS.
  • Receives, signs for, and logs all mail, supplies, and other material received via domestic carriers and vendors, and routes to the appropriate branch or department.
  • Sorts and routes all incoming/outgoing inter-departmental material to the appropriate recipient.
  • Packs and ships/distributes products and services to satisfy the requisition of branches and departments.
  • Completes necessary documentations such as packing slips, airway bills, and transmittal forms for proper documentation for tracking purposes.
  • Verifies accuracy of all purchase orders.

Required Skills Or Training

  • Hospitality: Have a service-oriented mindset. Ability to provide outstanding customer service to meet vendors, visitors and teammates needs.
  • Communication: Excellent listening and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with vendors, visitors and teammates.
  • Organization: Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Ability to keep work areas tidy and free of clutter.
  • Computer: Proficiency in operating a personal computer. Familiarity in inventory applications and filing and maintaining operational logs accurately.
  • Operations/Administrative: Working knowledge of cleaning products and methods and how to operate cleaning equipment. Knowledge of U.S. postal rates, services, equipment and inter-office mail systems.
  • Personal: Demonstrated ability to work independently, effectively and efficiently to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities essential to critical deadlines.
