Performing Secretarial Functions

Generate communications for Principal's approval and signature.

Coverage and maintenance of Principal and school-wide calendars.

Coordination of district-level information for the principal, including weekly bulletins, events, training, meetings, and deadlines.

Scheduling and work assignment coordination for Principal’s clerk and other office helpers.

Attendance at all required administrative meetings and trainings.

Office Management

Maintenance of adequate office supplies and materials in advance of need.

Point of contact for staff, substitutes, students, parents, and community regarding general campus operations.

Use of attendance reports to monitor and maintain daily staff attendance records and reconcile monthly, bi-weekly, and supplemental attendance records.

Creation and review of supplemental pay activity codes, and reconciliation of time cards.

Ensuring compliance with supplemental pay policies and procedures.

Use of Budget Manager Reports to monitor and adjust line item accounts.

Management of requisitions and reconciliation process, including generation of requisitions, verification of funding, maintenance of supporting documents, receipt of materials/services, and monitoring of payments.

Management of expenditures related to grants, including materials, contracts, events, field trips, and personnel utilization.

Other Duties

All other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Work Environment

Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required.

Travel throughout the district is integral to this job.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Work locations: Starks Elementary Job Office Manager-Middle School.

Work Schedule

Schedule: Full-time.

Compensation

Minimum Salary: $40,374.00

Median Salary: $51,770.00
