Campus Manager
This is a remote role requiring daily travel within New Jersey to build and maintain relationships with nursing schools.
About the role
The Campus Manager is the primary point of contact to develop and manage relationships with nursing schools to obtain potential BAYADA Skilled Nursing nurse candidates. They are responsible for building and maintaining long-term school relationships to promote the BAYADA Nurse Residency program and BAYADA as a future employer of choice. They will lead, manage, and coordinate recruitment and relationship efforts with specific schools or within a territory.
Travel required: must be able to travel throughout the state of New Jersey. Overnight stay required 10%-20%. The ideal candidate will be located in the Gloucester County, Camden County, or Burlington County area. Candidate may be located in other areas but must be willing to travel the whole state of New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.
- Develop working knowledge of BAYADA’s mission, services, people, organization, policies, and procedures.
- Develop strong relationships with school career services, faculty, student organizations, and other groups identified as relevant to recruiting.
- Coordinate and administer all aspects and logistics for on-campus activities and events, including school outreach, scheduling, coordinating event activity with BAYADA campus team, job postings, coordinating and managing event activities (ordering food, booth/collateral processes, downloading resumes, obtaining student contact information on sign-in lead sheet, and collecting resumes).
- Understand, identify, and recommend campus-specific marketing and event opportunities to increase nurse recruitment and BAYADA visibility on-campus.
- Participate in formal campus recruitment events and leverage the campus recruiter and champions, as needed, ensuring adequate team members are assigned for all events.
- Represent BAYADA effectively when on campus for both formal recruiting events and non-recruiting events.
- Have knowledge of the BAYADA Nurse Residency program, Bayada employment opportunities, and a basic understanding of BAYADA nurse responsibilities.
- Work with BAYADA Enterprise and cross-practice teams on school relationships when needed.
- Document activity and maintain updated school information (contacts, event calendar, graduation schedule, etc.) in the account management or CRM system selected by leadership.
- Report weekly (or as determined by leadership) on activity, scheduled events, contacts/leads obtained, recap from previous week activity, successes, and obstacles related to school relationships.
- Develop a quarterly strategy plan to increase visibility and further relationships with selected schools to obtain Nurse Residency and employment candidates. Report on the effectiveness of past strategies, review, and meet goals set by leadership (leads/contacts obtained, candidates hired, events, outreach, etc.). Identify focused/top accounts and opportunities that will contribute to meeting set goals.
- Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.
- Perform related duties as required or requested by supervisor.
Requirements

- Four-year college degree.
- Minimum five years of experience in a related field.
- Proven track record of advanced competency in campus relations and recruitment.
- Demonstrated record of successfully taking on more responsibility with positive results.
- Proven experience in building relationships and advising/consulting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive and travel to campus events and Bayada meetings as needed.
- Acceptable pre-employment assessment results.
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, high-touch, multi-location environment while maintaining ownership of the candidate and hiring experience.
- Experience with cross-functional internal partnerships to build on and create excellent candidate experiences that align with BAYADA’s core values and mission.
