Campus Instructional Aide - 6.5 hrs at Multiple Sites

Beaumont Unified School District is located in the scenic San Gorgonio Pass, perfectly situated between Palm Springs and Southern California’s Inland Empire. We support the growing communities of Beaumont, Cherry Valley, and portions of Calimesa and Banning, totaling over 12,000 students. Our District operates seven elementary schools (TK-5), one TK-8, two middle schools, a comprehensive high school (9-12), one middle college high school, one alternative school, an extensive home education program, and a large adult education program.

About the role

Under immediate supervision, assists in conducting intensified, positive learning experiences for students in assigned areas of study; performs a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for certified instructional personnel; assists students with special needs and performs other related work as required. Reports to the site Principal, Administrative Designee, or Director of Special Services.

Requirements

• Proof of high school graduation
• CPR/First Aid Certification (no online certifications accepted)
• Associates degree or 60 semester units (attach a copy to the application if applicable)

Schedule

• 195 days per year, Monday - Friday
• Starlight Elementary: 7:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Sundance Elementary School: 7:45 am - 2:45 pm

Pay

$20.08 - $27.49 per hour. A maximum of three years of experience outside the district may be credited; external new hires start at a maximum of $22.31 per hour (Range 6/Step 4).
