The Role: Food & Beverage Director

This role is an Executive Committee Member. As our Food & Beverage Director, you lead the dynamic F&B programs at Hotel Citrine and AC Hotel Palo Alto. Your leadership shapes menus, guiding teams, curating guest journeys, and crafting moments of excellence.

  • Lead and oversee all F&B outlets, banquet operations, and in-room dining at both properties.
  • Manage financial performance, forecasting, and budget adherence across departments.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team—recruiting top talent and creating future leaders.
  • Drive service excellence through hands-on leadership and daily pre-shift alignment.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Culinary teams to enhance programming and events.
  • Ensure all operations meet luxury service standards, health codes, and safety guidelines.
  • Promote guest satisfaction by creating seamless, engaging, and memorable dining experiences.
  • Be the face of our restaurants, building relationships with guests, vendors, and the community.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record: 5+ years leading F&B operations in luxury hotel or fine dining environments.
  • Strong financial acumen, experience with POS systems, payroll, and inventory management.
  • Passion for service, food, beverage, and storytelling through hospitality.
  • An approachable, inspiring leadership style that cultivates team engagement and excellence.
  • Operational knowledge across multiple venues and event spaces.
  • Keen awareness of guest needs, timing, and sensory experiences.
