Campus Community Safety Officer (PM)
About the role
Under the supervision of the Campus Community Safety Coordinator, performs a wide variety of college campus safety services using a community-oriented campus safety model to prevent violence and theft, provide access to college facilities, and respond to incidents affecting campus safety and security.
Responsibilities
- Engage in enforcing the rules and regulations governing students, faculty, and staff with superior customer service and ethical integrity.
- May serve as field training officer to mentor student safety officers and provide training on building-level patrol procedures.
Requirements
Having surpassed 18 years of age as of the first day of employment in this role AND 2 years of college completed at a regionally accredited institution OR 60 college credits at a regionally accredited institution OR 1000 hrs experience in related field OR 1000 hrs combination of occupational experience in related fields and education.
