Campus/Commercial Facilities Maintenance Specialist in Elko, NV

Key Responsibilities

• Perform / contract the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Manage the upkeep of parking lots, including resurfacing and line painting.
• Perform snow removal operations to ensure safe and accessible parking and access road areas.
• Maintain attractive and functional outdoor spaces.
• Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
• Conduct regular inspections and coordinate necessary repairs and upgrades.
• Aid with front desk operations, including visitor admissions and handling inquiries.
• Support the maintenance and cleanliness of wash bays and paint booths to ensure a safe working environment.
• Oversee and assist with janitorial services to maintain a clean and hygienic campus environment.
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety throughout the campus.
• Maintain and monitor video surveillance systems to ensure campus security.
• Help manage access controls, including issuing and deactivating access cards and keys.
• Oversee the maintenance of ancillary services such as vending machines and water dispensers.
• Ensure pool vehicles are maintained and support equipment mobilization and storage.
• Assist with weed abatement and maintain perimeter fences.
• Assist with disposal of hydrocarbons and maintain stormwater systems.
• Ensure air permitting requirements are met and oil separators are cleaned and maintained.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years proven experience in commercial / industrial facility management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in general HVAC knowledge, and building resource management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.
• Independently motivated and works well in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Compensation Range

The anticipated salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 depending on experience.
