Campus Assistant

Heritage Classical Academy is seeking a qualified Campus Assistant for a full-time position at the Pepper Pike Campus. Applicants should have a vibrant Christian testimony demonstrating a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and must fully support and abide by the school’s Statement of Faith.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will exude a love for children and have a warm and welcoming spirit. This position will assist the Campus Coordinator, Head of Lower School, and Facilities Manager in daily operating activities.

• All employees possess a Christian testimony demonstrating a personal, active, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• All employees fully support HCA’s Statement of Faith and support the mission to Cultivate Lifelong Learners Who Think and Live for Christ.
• All employees are part of a local church that aligns with the mission and vision of HCA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oneself with Christ-like professional behavior.
• Support the administration, Campus Coordinator, and teaching staff, engendering a culture of Christian charity and joy.
• Assist with daily operating activities, including:
  • Lunch monitor
  • Recess monitor
  • Teacher workroom tasks
  • Front office support
  • Administrative duties
• Demonstrate a biblical model of work via punctuality, consistency, servant leadership, and modesty.

Requirements

• Full support of Heritage’s Statement of Faith, Mission, and Vision statements.
• Familiarity with the classical model of education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
