Campus Ambassador

About the role

Campus Ambassadors are enrolled, undergraduate students who represent Water for Good on their respective college campuses through hosting awareness events, presenting in classes and clubs, and conducting fundraisers. Ambassadors experience the mission and culture of Water for Good through monthly consultations, team prayer time, online resources, and the opportunity to go on a summer Vision Trip to the organization’s programs. The term length is one academic year.

Responsibilities

• Host one fundraising event per semester
• Host two awareness events per semester
• Present three times per semester in classes, sororities/fraternities/clubs, campus ministries, faculty groups, etc.
• Advertise events on social media and campus channels
• Consult and communicate with Water for Good staff throughout the program

Requirements

• Passion for Water for Good’s mission of transforming lives through sustainable access to safe water, improved sanitation, and hygiene in underserved areas
• Currently enrolled undergraduate student at a college or university in Northwest Arkansas throughout the ambassador term
• Minimum 2.0 GPA
• Ability to attend required training at the beginning of each semester
• Reliable and professional communication with the organization and supervisor
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Available for expected time commitment: 2–4 hours per week
• Connections with student organizations, campus ministries, or major programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience (e.g., club officer, ministry leader, resident assistant, student government)
• Event-planning experience
• Social media or marketing skills
• Volunteer and fundraising experience

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times
