Camps Coordinator

About This Role Renaissance Montessori Academy is seeking a full-time, temporary (summer and possibly school-year camps), Director-qualified Camp Coordinator. Summer camp starts on June 1, 2027, but prep work starts before. This position will include regular hours working in and planning for camps and full-time hours during camp weeks with the children and staff. There is also the possibility to add Fall, Winter, and Spring break camps. What You'll Do The right candidate will be Colorado Large Center Director Qualified or willing and able to become within 6-months. The candidate will need to be able to plan for, implement, and work as a team member and leader in the camp environments. Job details: Manage Camps environments for children and assisting teachersPlan and implement stimulating and developmentally appropriate daily curriculum that is in line with the Montessori philosophy and the individuality of each child Maintain a beautifully prepared, organized, clean, safe, and stimulating environment for the childrenEnsure camps are compliant with licensing, health code, RMA expectations and requirements, and all other applicable law, rules, and regulations Requirements Qualifications, Education, and Experience: Be Early Childhood Lead Teacher Qualified in the state of ColoradoHave or be willing to become Director Qualified within 6 months of hireMinimum of 2 years of experience working with groups of childrenMinimum of 6 months of classroom management experience Certified in CPR, First Aid, and Universal Precautions or willing to get within 30 days of hireWilling to become Medication Administration Certified (and willing to work with children with high medical needs)Willing to continue education beyond current accoladesClean Background checkBe able to work in the United States Benefits As an RMA employee, you would be working with a close team to support the growth and education of children 2.5 years through Elementary.
