About the role

As a Summer Day Camp Specialist / LIT Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities for campers, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily camp activities aligned with camp themes
• Ensure all campers and staff adhere to safety guidelines
• Collaborate with other camp staff to maintain a cohesive and fun camp atmosphere
• Support campers in developing new skills and interests
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all campers

Requirements

• Experience working with children
• Ability to follow safety protocols
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children
• Flexibility to work varying hours during the summer season

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
• Previous experience in a camp setting or similar role
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
