Camp Counselor - Camp Is-Sho-Da
About the Role
As a unit counselor at Camp Is-Sho-Da, you’ll be responsible for keeping your group of campers safe and engaged in activities. You’ll collaborate with other staff to prepare a week’s worth of exciting activities following the Girl Scout program.
Must be 16 years of age and have completed at least 10th grade by the end of June.
Dates of Employment: June 28 – August 14, 2026.

About the Camp
Camp Is-Sho-Da is located on 100 acres of fields and woods in East Greenbush, NY. It offers hiking trails, a five-acre pond for water activities, a large playfield, and facilities for nature study and artmaking. Rustic screened shelters, platform tents, and covered wagons provide varied camping options.
Camp operates primarily as a day camp, with an overnight experience every Wednesday, providing variety while maintaining a predictable schedule. It serves children in kindergarten through grade 12.
