Camp Counselor
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead group activities, games, and sports for children
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Foster positive relationships and promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and good behavior
- Assist with setting up activities and maintaining a clean, organized space
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and campers
- Enforce rules and safety protocols consistently
- Provide first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies
Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Previous experience working with children or in recreational settings is a plus
- CPR certification is helpful but not required; training may be provided
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work outdoors and stand for extended periods
- Energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic about working with children
