Camp Christopher - Camp Counselor - Seasonal

Responsibilities

• Attend to all personal care and safety needs of campers
• Follow the activity schedule and assist camp departments as needed
• Facilitate and monitor activities including but not limited:
  • Boating/Swimming
  • Challenge Course
  • Athletic Games/Sports
  • Archery
  • Hiking
  • Fishing
  • Horseback Riding
  • Crafts
  • Kitchen
  • Cleaning/Utilities
  • Maintenance
• Follow all applicable regulations and standards to ensure camper & staff safety
• Communicate with campers, parents, staff and camp administration
• Other duties as assigned by the program coordinator/camp management

Requirements

• Enthusiastic individuals
• Ability to work with children
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards for child safety
• Basic first aid training (preferred)

Qualifications

• Experience working with children
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow directions and maintain a safe environment
