Camp Benny - Camp Counselor (Seasonal)
Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, organized, and compassionate students & young professionals to join our six-week summer day camp program for children with autism and on the spectrum, Camp Benny. As a Camp Benny Summer Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for supervising and engaging with campers, ensuring their safety, facilitating activities, and promoting a positive and inclusive camp atmosphere designed to support social, emotional, and sensory development while ensuring a fun and memorable summer experience for children with diverse needs. Camp Benny is based at Rudolph Matas Elementary School, 1201 Elise Ave., Metairie, LA, 70003.

Qualifications
Qualifications for this position include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Background check and clear criminal history

Pay
The pay for this position is $15 per hour.
Schedule
Camp Benny operates from Monday through Friday, with shifts available from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
