CAM Programmer (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Generate and optimize computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) toolpaths for complex 3D geometries.
• Translate CAD models into precise machining instructions for CNC machines.
• Validate toolpaths through simulation to ensure accuracy and collision avoidance.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine designs for manufacturability.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of machining processes and revisions.

Requirements

• Experience programming CNC machines using CAM software.
• Proficiency with Micro1 platform for CAM operations.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and CAD file interpretation.
• Familiarity with G-code and post-processing for different CNC controllers.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality machining outcomes.
