CAM Operator

About the role

According to customer and internal specifications, creates fabrication tools and documentation for PCB manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to read, understand and follow written procedures and instructions in English.
• Implements notes and instructions on PCB fabrication drawings, and meets quality requirements.
• Inputs and analyzes incoming customer design data.
• Creates photo-tools, net lists, CNC files according to current production capabilities and methods.
• Generates panelized tooling, coupons, AOI data, and PCB layout according to current quality procedures.

Education and Experience

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Software and Tools

• Frontline Genesis 2000 CAM software.
• Micrsoft Office Suite.

Additional Certifications

• TTM-Logan software programs including FastTrak.
• Certify to TTM-Logan process QC #2310 (CAM) within 90 days after their hire or transfer date.

Physical Demands

• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience working with external customers.
• Understanding of PCB manufacturing process.
