Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic devices associated with state facilities.
- Perform lead work as required involving office duties and lower level electrical positions.
- Operate light trucks, personnel hoists, vans and automotive vehicles.
- Drive heavy trucks, if properly licensed.
- May operate equipment such as trenchers, forklifts, air quality monitors, hoists and cranes.
- Must possess a valid Class C driver's license, Class A or B highly desirable.
- Assist sign crew when equipment or operations is needed.
Requirements
- Valid California Drivers License (CDL).
- Pass Drug Screening.
- Clear Background Investigation.
- Operate vehicles requiring a Class C driver’s license.
Qualifications
The position requires possession of a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
The position requires a Drug Screening be passed prior to being hired. The position requires a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
Employee will operate vehicles requiring a Class C driver’s license.
This position is subject to the Post & Bid process.
Applications from a certification list, transfer, change-in-class, reinstatement, re-employment, and/or training and development assignment will be accepted for this position but may not be considered unless the Post & Bid process does not result in a hire.
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.

Unofficial, original, or official sealed transcripts will be accepted and may be required upon appointment.
