Call Processing Representative

Location: Chula Vista, CA Job Type: Temporary – 6 Months Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–6:00 PM Hours: 40 hours per week Specialty: Outpatient Clinic / Call Center Position Overview We are seeking a Call Processing Representative to support a busy healthcare call center. The representative will handle incoming calls, assist patients and callers with general inquiries, provide accurate information, and help ensure a positive and efficient customer experience. Responsibilities Answer and process incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner. Assist patients and callers with general questions and service-related inquiries. Accurately collect and document caller information. Provide clear and timely information while maintaining confidentiality. Route calls to the appropriate department or healthcare team member when necessary. Handle high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Follow established call-handling procedures and service standards. Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and other departments. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to calls. Support a positive patient experience through professional customer service. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, call center operations, or a healthcare setting. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a healthcare call center or medical office. Relevant medical certification or professional licensure. Bilingual communication skills in English and one of the following: Spanish, Arabic, or Vietnamese.
