Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive onboarding

  • Job shadowing
  • Direct mentorship with an onsite leader
  • Department projects
  • Learn components of what drives a successful Marketing and Sales operation
  • Demonstrate the company’s values and core beliefs

Requirements

  • Pursuing a college degree
  • Preferred major in Hospitality, Marketing, Sales, or Business
  • Prior Hospitality or Sales experience preferred
  • Previous performance rating will be considered

Qualifications

  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Follow Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation Policy Marketing and Sales Standards of Appearance
  • Wear appropriate uniform or adhere to corporate office business dress guidelines

Pay

All College Internships are paid at an hourly wage.

Schedule

The College Internship Program - Marketing and Sales is designed to last 10-12 weeks depending upon the participant’s availability and the needs of the property. The participants should expect to work a full-time schedule in this program.

Interns will participate in comprehensive onboarding, operational duties within their assigned department, eLearning, virtual meetings with company leaders, job shadowing, and a direct mentorship with an onsite leader. The program is designed to last 10-12 weeks depending upon the participant’s availability and the needs of the property. The participants should expect to work a full-time schedule in this program.
