Call Center Associate (On-Call), North American Disaster Relief

About the role

We are seeking a Call Center Associate to join our North American Disaster Relief (NADR) team. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan’s Purse are to help people in Jesus’ name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
• Handle inbound and outbound phone calls to serve homeowners affected by disaster and in need of assistance.
• Communicate and minister to homeowners, keeping them informed during the application process and assisting with their requests.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the ministry and support phone calls for other departments and areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office suite and technology skills.
• English language required; Spanish language skills are useful.

Schedule

• On-call roster as needed.
• Shifts: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm or 11:30 am to 8 pm.
• Potential weekend shifts: Saturdays 8 am to 8 pm, Sundays 12 pm to 6 pm.

Pay

$22–28 per hour.
