Role Description

The Help Desk Analyst is responsible for:

  • Taking calls and assisting users with logins, resets, and application assistance.
  • Escalating issues to tier two when necessary.
  • Using technical databases and researching problems.
  • Coordinating changes, upgrades, and new products to ensure system compatibility.
  • Providing accurate and timely answers to general and administrative environment questions.
  • Reporting time spent on all work activities.
  • Maintaining quality standards.
  • Working in a team environment.
  • Completing assigned tasks.
  • Holding strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a help desk or call center environment preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software and hardware.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay and Schedule

Pay rate: $16/hr.

Work schedule: 5 days in the office and 5 days telework, with options for shift preferences (8AM-4:30PM or 8:30AM-5PM).
