About the role

Part Time Call Center Agent notifyMD Call Center Agents at notifyMD provide friendly, professional, and comprehensive support to our clients' customers. Using excellent customer service skills to provide the best possible experience, you'll handle calls for various businesses, ranging from medical offices to apartment complexes to professional services, while adhering to our metrics. You'll make sure that all aspects of the message are collected thoroughly and accurately so that our customers can have the confidence that their issue will be relayed to our client. Customer service experience is a plus but not required. This is a work from home position.

Responsibilities

• Professionally handle incoming calls in a high-volume environment
• Greet callers
• Provide and request required information
• Transfer calls or take messages as necessary
• Work on our state-of-the-art call processing system
• Be trained on a variety of call center tools to help properly prioritize customer needs
• Handle inbound calls only (no outbound telemarketing or hard sales calls)

Requirements

• Welcoming voice with an upbeat tone
• Strong command of the English language with good spelling and grammar
• Computer skills in a Windows‑based environment
• Good attendance
• Ability to type 35 words per minute or more
• Broadband Internet (must pass our speed test)
• Windows 11 PC or laptop (no Macs/Apple products, Chromebooks, or tablets) with a direct Ethernet connection (no Wi‑Fi or satellite)
• 1 GB of available space
• Screen display resolution of 1600 × 900 (dual monitors preferred)
• USB wired headset (no Bluetooth) with a microphone

Skills

• Customer service experience (preferred)
• Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred)

Pay

$20 per hour

Schedule

• Part‑time schedules ranging from 14.5 to 19.5 hours per week
• Various set schedules
• One weekend day required (Saturday or Sunday)
• Holiday work may be required
• Training lasts approximately 1‑2 weeks; after training you move to your set schedule
