California Licensed Supervisors (LMFT/LPCC)
About the role
Daybreak Health is on a mission to revolutionize mental health care for students across the United States. We provide personalized, evidence-based teletherapy services that empower young people to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. As a supervising clinician, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of therapists and making a lasting impact on students' lives — without carrying a client caseload yourself.

- Maintain accurate, timely supervisory documentation in our secure EHR system.
- Collaborate indirectly with school counselors, teachers, and families through your supervisees to support a holistic care team.
- Use Daybreak's tools to help supervisees track progress and adjust treatment plans for the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to stay current in youth mental health care.
Requirements
- Required Qualifications: Active, independent clinical license in California as an LMFT or LPCC (required — we are only able to accept LMFT or LPCC supervisors at this time; other license types, including psychologists, cannot be considered for this role).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience providing clinical supervision to associate-level therapists.
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Availability during peak supervision demand times (afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends).
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish or other languages (preferred).
- Experience with CBT, DBT, or similar therapeutic modalities (preferred).
- Background in school settings or working closely with educational institutions (preferred).
- Active NPI number and CAQH profile (preferred).
Skills
