Responsibilities
- Focus on 2-6 years post-JD civil litigation at a law firm; complex commercial litigation, white-collar criminal defense, bankruptcy litigation; pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial prep; litigation strategy; drafting motions/briefs; deposition work; courtroom proceedings; arguing motions and witness examination opportunities.
- Focused on 3+ years litigation practice; trial prep and courtroom experience; file responsibility; motion practice; depositions; high-volume litigation environment; e-discovery software; advocacy, research, writing, negotiation, organization, and client-service skills.
- Focus on 3+ years commercial litigation experience at a firm; case management, pleadings, contested motions, MTD/MSJ/class certification briefing, written discovery, depositions, motion argument, and client-facing case strategy.
- Focus on 1-4 years complex commercial litigation; strong legal research and writing; lean case teams; trade secret, technology, fintech, crypto and high-stakes commercial matters; briefs, motions, state and federal court filings, discovery management, deposition preparation, trial practice support, direct client exposure, and early case strategy responsibility.
Requirements
Candidates Must Be a licensed attorney or eligible for the applicable California bar requirements
Have substantive civil or commercial litigation experience
Be comfortable with pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation
Have strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Be interested in sophisticated disputes rather than routine high-volume litigation
Qualifications
Candidates must be a licensed attorney or eligible for the applicable California bar requirements.
Substantive civil or commercial litigation experience is required.
Comfortable with pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
Interested in sophisticated disputes rather than routine high-volume litigation.

- $185K-$235K base ($245K-$400K OTE)
- $165K-$185K + discretionary bonus
- $255K-$330K
- Additional ranges vary by role
