Calibration Technician - Field (OnCal)

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025
• Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites
• Perform calibration, performance checks and repair and maintenance on a wide variety of Instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards
• Operate, maintain, and adjust calibration test equipment
• Continually review all work processes, calibration and test results for accuracy and completeness
• Work directly with clients with effective communication to provide updates and answer questions
• Ensure all calibration complies with test and operation procedures and with industry regulations and quality standards
• Ensure that all calibration and tests are conducted safely and in compliance with established safety standards
• Prepare and maintain accurate calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date

Basic Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in high-temperature environments
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for electronic and computerized control systems
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently in the field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• If a fleet vehicle is assigned to you, you are required to store the company vehicle at your residence safely
• Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of basic calibration experience
• Associate's degree in engineering, electronics, other technical fields, or equivalent combination of trade school and field experience
• Techical degree or certificate
• Experience with IndySoft
