Day to Day Responsibilities
- Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025
- Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites
- Perform calibration, performance checks and repair and maintenance on a wide variety of Instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards
- Operate, maintain, and adjust calibration test equipment
- Continually review all work processes, calibration and test results for accuracy and completeness
- Work directly with clients with effective communication to provide updates and answer questions
- Ensure all calibration complies with test and operation procedures and with industry regulations and quality standards
- Ensure that all calibration and tests are conducted safely and in compliance with established safety standards
- Prepare and maintain accurate calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
Basic Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in high-temperature environments
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for electronic and computerized control systems
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently in the field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- If a fleet vehicle is assigned to you, you are required to store the company vehicle at your residence safely
- Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of basic calibration experience
- Associate's degree in engineering, electronics, other technical fields, or equivalent combination of trade school and field experience
- Techical degree or certificate
- Experience with IndySoft
