Responsibilities
- Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydro-mechanical, and pressure type measuring and indicating instruments.
- Sets up calibration sequences, methods, and procedures according to detailed specifications, drawings, and requirements.
- Makes use of automated procedures and helps develop new procedures.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Uses a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work activity.
- Conducts complex configuration tests and interprets schematics and testing procedures.
- Provides detailed documentation of all calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures and/or equipment manuals to perform work.
- Performs internal weekly checks and documents activities.
- Manages day-to-day workload, troubleshoots, evaluates, and calibrates equipment as directed by management.
- Manages outsourced calibration and repair activities.
- Writes technical documentation for new and existing applications, methods, and procedures.
- Maintains ISO 17025 documentation related to calibrated equipment.
- Performs other miscellaneous functions as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Experienced technician with a strong background in calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments.
- Self-starter capable of taking ownership of assigned duties.
- Knowledge of Fluke’s MetCal software is preferred but not required.
- Experience working in a 17025 accredited laboratory is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and follow directions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in using CMMS and Fluke’s MetCal software.
- Ability to interpret and follow detailed procedures and schematics.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Basic computer literacy.

Target Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000
