Job Position Summary
About the role
Responsible for the calibration program through the management and tracking conducted by 3rd party calibration vendors.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to safety regulation and standard.
- Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of all measurement instruments and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including ISO and other quality management systems.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve any equipment issues impacting product quality.
- Manage calibration records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Responsible for the calibration and/or set-up of standards and non-standard gauges.
- Pass the Certified Operator Program and maintain certification status.
- Follow 6s Procedures and maintains a clean organized work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2+ years of Gauge Calibration experience.
- Organizational skills to keep work and area organized.
- Knowledge of calibration standards and quality management systems.
- Proficient in using calibration software and data analysis tools.
- Time Management Skills.
- Basic Computer Skills including Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to details.
- Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees and customers.
Qualifications
- May have to lift up to thirty (40) pounds at a time, as required.
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
Skills
- Basic Computer Skills including Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to details.
- Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees and customers.
Benefits
- Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts.
- May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities.
