About the role

Fluke is looking for a dedicated Primary Pressure Calibration Technician based in Phoenix, AZ, to contribute to our calibration labs and operational areas. You will be responsible for ensuring the precision of our equipment through regular calibration services. This role plays an essential part in our application of the Fortive Business System (FBS), championing continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration on primary pressure measurement equipment.
  • Establish and sustain calibration methods and techniques.
  • Maintain inventory of all requisite calibration equipment and instruments.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues with calibration equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using FBS tools.
  • Analyze calibration data to uncover trends and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Uphold strict adherence to corporate and industry standards of calibration activities.
  • Participates in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to determine corrective actions.
  • Compile and maintain documentation for calibration procedures.
  • Offer technical support and training to other calibration technicians.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (2-year degree preferred).
  • 5 - 7 years relevant experience in a calibration capacity.
  • Solid comprehension of calibration principles and methodologies.
  • Practical experience with calibration equipment, tools and record keeping databases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with the FBS tools will be an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.

Pay

The pay range for this position (in local currency) is 22.88 - 34.32 hourly.
