About the role
Cardinal Staffing is interviewing for a Calibration Technician position in Burton, MI. We're looking for candidates who will be comfortable working overtime and weekends for a company that has a lot of growth opportunities.
Shift: Regular hours will be 1st shift, which is currently 6 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities
- Fully participate in and support the Extreme Precision Screw Products Quality System.
- Ensure all Extreme Precision Screw Products defined gages are tracked through the calibration system as per the Quality System.
- Perform overall verification and calibration of gages while reviewing and accurately filing all certifications and test reports.
- Assist personnel with all needs related to gages including issuing, maintaining, and monitoring gages.
- Create Purchase Orders and ship all calibration-related outsourced processes, as well as receive and inspect all shipments.
- Perform on-the-job audits.
- Plan, update, and receive all open calibration Vendor Purchase Orders.
- Assist Quality Manager, as needed.
Requirements
- Must be able to read drawings.
- Must be able to use Manufacturing Test Equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be familiar with basic mathematics.

Skills
Preferred:
- Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
- Full understanding of ISO 17025.
