About the role

We are seeking a skilled Calibration Tech to join our team at PSS Industrial. The Calibration Tech will be responsible for ensuring that our industrial equipment and systems are calibrated to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate and test industrial equipment and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Document calibration results and maintain records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to identify and resolve calibration issues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols during calibration procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices and technological advancements.

Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant field such as engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in calibration and testing of industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in using common calibration tools and instruments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of industry-specific calibration standards and regulations.
  • Experience with data analysis and report writing.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay

Salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
