Calibration/ Gauge Technician

About the role

The Calibration / Gauge Technician role is located in Conyers, GA within the Dover Food Retail (DFR) team. DFR is a leading manufacturer of Display Cases, Specialty Products, Refrigeration Systems, Power Systems and Comprehensive Services, part of the Dover Corporation®.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibrations, maintenance, and emergency repairs on gauges and/or tooling used in Refrigeration Systems manufacturing and assembly.
• Evaluate "as-found" equipment conditions, make precise mechanical/electrical adjustments, and record "as-left" data metrics.
• Document and archive detailed calibration reports, instrument histories, and out-of-tolerance logs into our internal asset management software.
• Ensure all measurements conform to applicable regulations and maintain strict traceability to NIST.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a calibration technician in a fast-paced manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in Metrology, Electronics, or Instrumentation is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of torque, pressure, flow, temperature, and dimensional application variables.
• Ability to lift to 25 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience, ASQ Certified Calibration Technician or ISO9001 / IATF16949 or similar technical system experience (preferred).
