Schedule

1st Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30AM - 3:30PM; Friday, 6:30AM - 10:30AM

Responsibilities

  • Manage and calibrate various gages – overlays, variable gages, attribute gages etc.
  • Read and interpret documents such as procedures, work instructions, specifications, drawings, and purchase orders.
  • Disassemble gages and clean accordingly.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections on these assemblies by using measuring tools and ensuring they are in accordance with the applicable procedures/instructions.
  • Verify conditions and calibration of all inspection and test equipment prior to use and completing the inspection.
  • Input calibration data into appropriate software.
  • Ensure calibration dates are observed and track any gages past calibration.
  • Contact customers for gaging as needed.
  • Schedule calibration dates as needed.
  • Other work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Conform to ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device industry requirements.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of GD+T and metrology application.
  • Basic knowledge of gaging.
  • Understand CMM reports.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Basic math, calculation, and related skills needed.
  • Understanding of labeling, coding, and accuracy in records is very important.
  • Ability to comply with Quality System requirements.
  • Application of Statistics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
