Schedule
1st Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30AM - 3:30PM; Friday, 6:30AM - 10:30AM
Responsibilities
- Manage and calibrate various gages – overlays, variable gages, attribute gages etc.
- Read and interpret documents such as procedures, work instructions, specifications, drawings, and purchase orders.
- Disassemble gages and clean accordingly.
- Perform in-process and final inspections on these assemblies by using measuring tools and ensuring they are in accordance with the applicable procedures/instructions.
- Verify conditions and calibration of all inspection and test equipment prior to use and completing the inspection.
- Input calibration data into appropriate software.
- Ensure calibration dates are observed and track any gages past calibration.
- Contact customers for gaging as needed.
- Schedule calibration dates as needed.
- Other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Conform to ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device industry requirements.
Qualifications
- Understanding of GD+T and metrology application.
- Basic knowledge of gaging.
- Understand CMM reports.
- Strong organization skills.
- Able to multitask.
- Basic math, calculation, and related skills needed.
- Understanding of labeling, coding, and accuracy in records is very important.
- Ability to comply with Quality System requirements.
- Application of Statistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
