Principal Duties
- Responsible for fulfilling the production list, given by management, which includes all cakes for orders and house and/or prep items.
- Must be able to execute all recipes consistently according to the recipes and standards.
- Ensures all decorated items reflect the highest standards of quality, consistency, aesthetics, and taste.
- Demonstrates safe food handling practices and follows safety procedures for using equipment and cleaning supplies.
- Operates and monitors proper functioning of equipment to include mixers and choppers; follows safety procedures for using equipment; sanitize work area during and after use.
- Exhibits great customer service when needed.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Position requires standing and walking for period of 3-5 hours without a rest break.
- Occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, bending, and reaching overhead may be required.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, coworkers, and management.
- Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
