RN Supervisor (Per Diem, Night Shift) at Carthage Area Hospital, Nursing Administration, Carthage, NY.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, organizes, directs and evaluates the delivery of patient care and services.
• Ensures quality of care is rendered to all patients in accordance with hospital and nursing department standards of care.
• Serves as a professional role model.
• Assumes overall responsibility for nursing services on each shift to provide continuity in decision making and nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the State of New York.
• BSN preferred.
• Education in nursing management preferred.
• Four years of progressive nursing experience in a hospital setting with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• ACLS required.
• Approved pharmacology course or previous medication experience and successful achievement in medications examination.
• Must possess and demonstrate knowledge of the appropriate means to provide care to infant, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Must possess knowledge of their growth and development requirements and age‑specific needs.

Pay

Base pay range: $46.28 – $61.33 per hour. This rate does not include the overnight shift differential of $1.75 for shifts 7p‑7:30a. Pay is determined by experience, qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.

Schedule

Per Diem, Night Shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.).
