About the role

Performs a wide range of duties involved with preparing and/or serving foods and beverages in one or more of a variety of food service environments. Assists in cleaning work areas, equipment, utensils.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and serves meals according to recipes and guidelines.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, utensils.
  • Assists with meal preparation and serving.
  • Ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1 year of previous Food Service cooking experience preferred.
  • (Training offered).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take initiative in the job, and have problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to be flexible in work schedule and assist with coverage as needed.
  • Strength in customer service skills and willingness to go above and beyond for patrons as necessary.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 6 months to 1 year of previous Food Service cooking experience preferred.

Pay

  • Base pay range: $18.48-$23.06.
  • Additional differentials: $2 for being a per diem role, $3 for evening shifts between 3p-11p (must work 4 hours in this range to qualify).

Schedule

  • Primary shift: 11a-7p.
  • Variety of shifts as needed.
