Cage Dump Opr PR03 - 1st shift - Monett

About the role

This position is responsible for operating machinery for dumping and emptying cages while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure birds are properly loaded onto conveyor belts
• Return coops properly to the forklift driver
• Catch stray birds
• Operate dump system
• Rotate to various positions within the department and perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor

Work Environment

• Dusty and noisy work environment
• Work area temperature varies based on outdoor conditions
• Must wear reflective outerwear, hearing protection, safety glasses, and gloves

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, and stoop
• Repetitive gripping, pushing, pulling, and bending
• Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
