CAG Instructor

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitoring individuals
• Teaching and modeling life skills
• Conducting activity groups with up to 10 members
• Driving a 16-passenger van to transport individuals to various community activities
• Tracking individual progress electronically
• Sharing acquired skills with individuals
• Attending sporting events, art galleries, concerts, and other community activities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of experience in a social services related position OR two years at an accredited college or university with at least 15 credit hours in a social service-related field
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED
• Two (2) years' experience with similar work experience

Requirements/Competencies

• Able to lift 20 pounds
• Requires long periods of sitting/standing
• Valid Georgia driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy
• Criminal background check (including fingerprinting)
• Pre-employment drug screen
• Subject to random drug screens
