Cafeteria Worker

About the role

Responsible for preparing and serving meals in the cafeteria. Also cleaning clean-up staff.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria counter.
• Serves students and staff from the cafeteria counter.
• Removes used dishes and assists in the cleaning of counters, tables, and furnishings, in the dining area and kitchen.
• Maintains the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion.
• Performs related duties as required including duties at special meal functions.
• Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the supervisor may from time to time be assign.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma/GED required.
• Experience or training in the area of food management.
