Cafeteria - 3 Hour Positions

3-hour position at Highland High School.

About the role

To provide quality and nutritious meals and snacks to the students and faculty with professional and courteous service.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete annual trainings required by the District.
• Complete required training hours of Professional Standards for state and local nutrition programs annually.
• Maintain a high degree of sanitation in kitchen and cafeteria at all times.
• Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers and co-workers.
• Maintain an efficient, productive, safe, and sanitary work station.
• List and understand the meal pattern regulations and serving requirements established by the Bureau of Child Nutrition.
• Follow storeroom familiarity and first-in first-out procedures.
• Assist with the preparation of student and faculty meals in a timely manner.
• Prepare food items, package and set up kiosks.
• Serve food items during lunch service.
• Remove used trays, pans, trash, and waste from counters, tables, and other areas, and clean these areas in a sanitary manner.
• Wash trays and pans and place them in a sanitary location.
• Count money, record production records, and complete deposit slips.
• Operate food service equipment independently.
• Perform duties as required for any special functions as directed by the cafeteria manager.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager.

• Demonstrated aptitude and ability for successful performance of the listed responsibilities.

Pay

Starts at $15.92 per hour, based on experience.

Per policy 4125, the district will give preference to qualified individuals who are residents of the Black Horse Pike Regional School District.
