Cafe Associate
Position Summary
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and works flexibly to meet business needs.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Prepares food according to item specifications; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
- Be an Expert: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; uses handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick-up orders, training, and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Be a Techie: Drives performance of the area; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assists members with purchasing decisions; locates merchandise; resolves member issues and concerns.
- Be an Owner: Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences, and inspires others in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented manner; understands and addresses roadblocks; assists in training.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implements related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications
- Food Safety Certification.
- Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
