About the Role

As a Team Member at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and educating other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. You will also be responsible for preparing food according to item specifications, adhering to food safety standards, and leveraging digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
• Prepare food according to item specifications, including planning for future and mass productions, and adhering to food safety standards
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
• Stock and rotate merchandise, ensuring quality and date control standards, and eliminating waste
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, and resolving issues and concerns
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Preferred: Food Safety Certification and Food Service Food Handler Certification

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
