Cafe Associate

Position Summary

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and works in other areas to meet business needs.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Prepares food according to item specifications; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be an Expert: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology for immediate business decisions; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be a Techie: Drives the performance of the area; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assists with purchasing decisions; locates merchandise; resolves member issues and concerns.
• Be an Owner: Being a brand advocate; developing, influencing, and inspiring others in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented manner; understands roadblocks and assists in training.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; uses the Open Door Policy; adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Food Safety Certification.
• Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
